Homemade Beefaroni

Several weeks ago I came across the fabulous blog, Cooking During Stolen Moments. I have bookmarked several recipes to try and last night I made Kate’s Homemade Beefaroni. It was a hit with my family! If you’re looking for something inexpensive, easy to throw together and tasty this is it!

1 lb. ground beef
1-29 oz. can tomato sauce
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup water
1 tbsp sugar
1 tsp each garlic powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 lb. zita pasta, cooked

Brown ground beef in a sauce pan and drain. Stir in remaining ingredients, except the pasta. Simmer for about 10 minutes, to let the flavors combine. Stir in the pasta until coated. Enjoy!
