Spot the Bassett

Every other night we brush our doggies teeth and clean out their ears. Piper HATES the process! Tonight she ran out of hubbies arms while I was in the middle of switching to her left ear. We looked all over and couldn't find her anywhere. Hubby jokingly said, "She must be under the Christmas tree." I happened to look underneath and sure enough that's where she was hiding out. It was hard to be mad at her when she just looked so darn cute!!! I went and grabbed my camera and was lucky enough to get a shot of her down there. Thankfully the tree was not harmed during the game of hide-and-go-seek, however I did have to redo the tree skirt.

Garfield & Odie

Hubby and I were talking the other day and we realized that our dogs are so similar to the popular cartoon characters of Garfield & Odie. While Piper is a not a cat, she definitely has that "sense of entitlement" like Garfield does and I think she could eat an entire pan of lasagna if she were given the chance. I will say though that Sophie kind of resembles Odie. She's tall, thin and her tongue hangs out of her mouth like Odie's when she's been running around!
